My Story

I’m running the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run to support Alzheimer’s research because this cause has become incredibly close to my heart. Nearly a month ago , I lost my grandma to dementia and cancer , and seeing the impact of the disease on her and our family was truly heartbreaking. I wanted to turn that loss into something positive, and taking part in this race felt like a meaningful way to do that. Running is something I've gained interest in over the last few months , and using it to raise awareness and funds in her memory is my way of honouring her and making her proud. Every step I take is for her, and for all the families affected by Alzheimer’s🤍
