My Story
In May, I’ll be taking part in the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run, one of the UK’s biggest and best‑loved running events.
I’m running in support of PoTS UK because my daughter, Amelie, was diagnosed with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) two years ago.
Amelie’s PoTS brings regular fainting, chronic fatigue, and daily challenges that make even simple activities take extra planning and energy. Her love of dance and her natural ability have shaped so much of who she is, and her ambition to dance professionally makes the impact of PoTS more significant. Yet her determination to keep going shows extraordinary strength.
PoTS is a complex and often misunderstood condition, and much more research is needed to improve understanding, treatment, and ultimately find a cure. This run is my small way of helping to support the vital work PoTS UK does for individuals and families like ours.
Thank you so much for any support you can give. Every donation, however much will really make a difference 🙏
