My Story
Why I'm Running
Just turned 75 and looking forward to my fourth quarter century, so time to do the Manchester 10k again. I’m running to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, and let’s face it, I might need them by the end – but that’s not why.
I’m running in memory of my late stepson, William Green Coogan. Will died tragically five years ago as he was in the final stages of completing his PhD at York University, his research funded by the British Heart Foundation. He was a lovely young man and is deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Please donate and think of Will when you do.
