My Story

In May 2025, my life turned upside down when I was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with Catastrophic Antiphospholipid Syndrome.  Despite working in the NHS for nearly 20 years,  I'd never heard of this condition.  The mortality rate is grim reading.

Unfortunately,  this condition can cause multiple miscarriages and blood clots, strokes, etc.

I'm running this race to try to raise awareness but to also stick two fingers up this condition, I can't let it beat me.
