My Story

In December 2022, our family were shaken by our Mum's diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. Sadly, the cancer cells had spread to multiple parts of her body - making her illness treatable, but incurable.

But The Christie gave us a ray of hope. As the largest single site cancer centre in Europe and the first UK centre to be accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre, they treat more than 60,000 patients a year - including our incredible Mum. 

My mum isn't just my mum. She's my person and my best friend. When we all cross that finish line, it won't just be for The Christie charity, it'll be for the heart of our family.
